Weired in style 'Thonet Shoes' by Pablo Reinoso

Thonet Shoes by Pablo Reinoso

Unlike many women, I’m not much of a shoe lover. But when you pair shoes with furniture that completely changes. These Thonet shoes by Paris-based Argentinian artist and designer Pablo Reinoso tickle my fancy.

Art Remixed :

Iconic paintings by artists like Leonardo DaVinci, Sandro Botticelli and Georges Seurat have become an intrinsic part of our cultural landscape, even as we progress far beyond the time periods in which they were completed. And, whether paying tribute or appropriating, making comments on the art itself or what we have become, today’s artists place these works in the modern context using photography, Photoshop, and other technology.

Become someone else Books Series

When one reads books, he/she starts living it and identifies (or not) with main hero. These print ads for the Mint Vinetu bookstore, which sells lots of classics, focuses on the idea of becoming someone else. And provokes people to try on different personas.

#OccupyHollywood :)

With the tagline, “I am the Asshole %,” artist Ryan Casey puts some of entertainment’s biggest stars on blast.

Capitalizing on the ‘Occupy’ movement, Casey calls stars out for what he sees are their hypocrisy, materialism, and narcism. Featuring Beyonce, CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Chaz Bono, Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, Snooki, Lady Gaga, and others, the #OccupyHollywood comics takes some not-so-subtle shots at celebs.
But are they on point? You be the judge!
